The Cleveland Browns entered Week 17 with two goals: get Myles Garrett his record-breaking sack and play spoiler for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
While they didn't get Garrett his sack, they did beat the Steelers.
It was a big upset win in Week 17, which leads to a winner-takes-all game between the Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens in Week 18. But that's not the only fallout from this game.
Before the game, @PickensBurgh on Twitter/X promised he would deactivate his account if the Browns beat the Steelers. After the game, the Browns hilariously called out this Steelers fan for not keeping to his promise.
If it already wasn't funny enough, the Steelers' fan reaction was the cherry on top of this interaction.
Browns call out Steelers fan for not deactivating account after Week 17 promise
In response to this Steelers' fans' comment, the Browns posted: "do it then." The fan didn't initially deactivate his account, but not long after the Browns' post went viral, his account was finally deactivated.
The Browns won against the Steelers both on and off the field in Week 17.
Jeff D. Lowe of Barstool saved a screenshot of @Pickensburgh's social media post, which said as follows: "Ok, I'll say it. If the Browns beat the Steelers today, I will officially deactivate my account."
I am blocked by @PickensBurgh on this website, but we need to hold this man accountable.

He said he’d deactivate his account if the Steelers lost to the #Browns, and yet he is still tweeting away. Sad! Pic.twitter.com/K4TvVxHonT
While he didn't initially deactivate following the Steelers' loss, the call-outs from Browns fans and then the Browns' social media account led the Steelers fan to deactivate his account.

He will likely reactivate his account at some point, especially for the upcoming Week 18 matchup against the Ravens. But for now, the Browns have cemented their second win of Week 17 by forcing a Steelers fan to uphold the end of his bet.
Week 17 was a great one for the Browns, one that could've only been made better had Garrett broken the sack record. But it was an overall positive week, as Cleveland secured its fourth win of the season and a big one over the Steelers.
The cherry on top was the Browns' social media admin getting a Steelers fan to deactivate his account as promised if the Browns beat the Steelers.
