The Cleveland Browns have been making constant headlines over the last several days. After losing to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5, the Browns have made multiple trades, sending quarterback Joe Flacco to the Cincinnati Bengals and acquiring cornerback Tyson Campbell from the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for cornerback Greg Newsome and a pick swap.
In light of the latter trade, many are wondering what Campbell's level of participation will look like in Week 6 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz hinted that he intends on having Campbell available.
"Browns DC Jim Schwartz indicated that they're preparing new CB Tyson Campbell to play Sunday vs. the Steelers," ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi reports. "Also mentioned Dom Jones as someone who could step in if Campbell isn't ready for a full workload."
"I haven't even met him yet," Schwartz said via Oyefusi. "He just put boots on the ground."
The Browns won't have a receiving corps that features high-end star talent outside of DK Metcalf. Should Calvin Austin not be able to go in Week 6, they may be able to feel comfortable with easing Campbell in for the Week 6 matchup.
