While starting the season with a 1-6 record, the Cleveland Browns are desperate for some positive news as they look to take on another struggling team, the Miami Dolphins.
Unfortunately, recent news revealed that 2025 first-round pick, defensive tackle Mason Graham, is dealing with a new injury.
He suffered a knee injury in practice this week and is questionable for Week 7 against the Dolphins. Head coach Kevin Stefanski labeled the top-five pick as "day-to-day," according to Mary Cay Cabot of Cleveland.com.
What does the Mason Graham injury mean for the Browns moving forward?
At 6-foot-4, 315 pounds, Mason Graham has emerged as a key contributor for the Browns, who boast one of the league's top defenses through six weeks.
Through his first six career games, the 22-year-old has recorded 14 total tackles and half a sack.
Although the defense has held strong, led by former Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett, their struggling offense has been unable to gain momentum. This problem has contributed to their 1-6 start to the season.
More news on the severity of Graham's knee injury will be revealed in later days. He will join fellow defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. (knee), right tackle Jack Conklin (concussion), and wide receiver Gage Larvadain (concussion) as Browns players who are questionable for the matchup against the Dolphins.
Tight end David Njoku (knee) has already been ruled out for the contest.
