The Cincinnati Bengals lost a heartbreaker to the New York Jets, falling 39-38 and dropping to 3-5 on the season. Not only did the Bengals lose the game, but they may have also lost Trey Hendrickson to an injury.
Jordan Schultz reports that Hendrickson re-injured his hip, though it isn't believed to be too serious. However, the play in which he was injured could be labeled as intentional on the part of the Jets.
"Bengals star DE Trey Hendrickson re-aggravated his hip injury today vs. The Jets, though the team believes it’s not significant, per sources," Schultz reports on X. "Some within the organization felt the hit that caused the injury was a cheap shot. This is the video."

The Bengals are entering must-win territory, as falling to 3-6 would be incredibly difficult to come back from. They take on the Chicago Bears next week.
