The Cincinnati Bengals have missed the playoffs in each of the last two seasons. Despite Joe Burrow putting together one of the best passing seasons in recent memory, the Bengals' defense was far too poor for the Bengals to overcome and get into the postseason.
Despite that, the belief in Burrow is still high across the NFL. In a recent poll conducted by Jeff Howe of The Athletic, Burrow was voted as the player expected to win MVP in 2025.
"Burrow just delivered the best training camp of his career, quietly guiding the Bengals into a highly anticipated season while staving off the summer injury bug that's hit him in previous years," Howe wrote. "That's why the voters believe Burrow will overtake Allen for the award."
Should Burrow put together a season similar to his 2024 campaign and help the Bengals get to the playoffs, it's certainly fair to predict Burrow will win his first MVP award.
