The Cincinnati Bengals are ahead of schedule here.
Superstar quarterback Joe Burrow has been back at practice after his turf toe surgery. The original timeline suggested that might not happen until December.
And with the exciting return looming, Cincy fans are ready to see Burrow back on the field.
The Bengals have an intriguing game on Sunday, too, hosting the New England Patriots and talented second-year QB Drake Maye.
Burrow would certainly make for a fun other side to this one.
Is Joe Burrow playing today?
The only problem is that Burrow isn't playing Sunday against the Patriots in the Bengals' Week 12 game.
They opted to keep him out in the interests of being cautious.
Joe Flacco will again start in Burrow's place.
When is the Bengals' next game?
The Bengals have a quick turnaround. They play Thursday on Thanksgiving.
That'll be a primetime kickoff against the Baltimore Ravens.
It'd certainly provide quite the stage for Burrow to make his return on.
