Bengals' Tee Higgins reveals how Joe Burrow has looked amid injury image

It still remains uncertain if the Cincinnati Bengals are going to have Joe Burrow under center against the New England Patriots in Week 12.

The Bengals haven't been in a great spot throughout the season, but are in third place in the AFC North, and crazier things have happened around the NFL.

If the Bengals can come out and win some games toward the back end of the season, it's possible they could get to about eight or nine wins and sneak into the playoffs.

That doesn't seem very likely as of now, but having Burrow would go a long way in accomplishing that.

It sounds like that's a real possibility in Week 12, as he'll be listed as questionable.

When speaking to reporters about what this means for the Bengals and Burrow, his star teammate, Tee Higgins, had nothing but great things to say about the All-World quarterback.

“Joe’s been looking outstanding, man,” Higgins said, per ESPN’s Ben Baby. “He’s slinging it deep, short routes. Everything’s been pretty good.”

“He needs to take as much time as he needs, but I mean, he looks good,” Higgins said. “If he’s ready, then I’m ready. Take as much time as you need to get back to 100 percent, which I think he is now.”

Will Joe Burrow play in Week 12 against the Patriots?

As Higgins touched on, it's more important for Burrow to take as much time as he needs.

Even if it's due to how poorly the Bengals have played and the unlikelihood of making the playoffs, that's something that has to be factored in.

Had Cincinnati been in a better spot, or had it won more games, it would’ve made more sense to move him on a bit quicker.

Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
