The status of the Cincinnati Bengals' receiving touchdowns leader, Tee Higgins, has been a whirlwind so far this week.
Higgins, 26, returned from a concussion he sustained in Week 12 against the New England Patriots in the Bengals' 39-34 loss to the Buffalo Bills. It was the first game he's missed this season.
After having one of his better outings in the loss to the Bills, Higgins was placed back into concussion protocol after hitting his head on the turf late in the game.

Tee Higgins logs second straight practice
Despite being placed in concussion protocol on Monday, Higgins returned to Bengals practice in a "very limited" fashion on Wednesday, according to NFL insider Mike Petraglia.
The Cincinnati receiver logged a second straight practice on Thursday after being seen going through practice warmups, Petraglia posted to X.

Higgins has logged 46 receptions on 81 targets, 667 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns in the 12 games he's played in this season.
It appears that Higgins is trending in the right direction.
The Bengals are going to need any help they can get as they take on their division rival, the Baltimore Ravens, in Week 15. Just a few weeks ago, Cincinnati beat the Ravens in quarterback Joe Burrow's first game back from midseason toe surgery.
They will look to repeat that success on Sunday.
