Bengals get major trade demand update on Joe Burrow from NFL insiders image

There has been no storyline for the Cincinnati Bengals as of late that's been more concerning than the future of Joe Burrow.

While the 2025 season has been a major letdown, some recent comments from Burrow have fans and those around the NFL concerned about a potential trade or departure.

But, for ESPN insiders Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler, the future of Burrow in Cincinnati isn't as up in the air as it might seem. They revealed that Burrow doesn't want out of Cincinnati and hasn't ever expressed such a desire.

Joe Burrow doesn't want out of Cincinnati

"I think it's unlikely he wants out." Graziano writes. "People have been trying to get him out of Cincinnati since before the Bengals even drafted him, and he has never expressed any desire to not be there."

This update from Graziano is a sigh of relief for Bengals fans worried that Burrow might force his way out of Cincinnati. While things haven't gone well, Burrow isn't planning to leave anytime soon.

It's hard to tell for certain what the future of Burrow in Cincinnati entails, but for now, there doesn't look to be a trade coming, and as Graziano writes, "... I don't get the sense the Bengals are worried he's going to force his way out."

While his comments a few weeks ago led to this concern spreading around the NFL, there's no indication that Burrow wants out or will try to force a trade.

"My sense is the Bengals have not received any indication that Burrow wants out of Cincinnati," Fowler wrote.

Things need to make a turn for the better for Burrow to remain fully committed to this team, as would be the case for any team's franchise quarterback in Burrow's shoes.

But, for now, Bengals fans can rest easy that Burrow isn't trying to force a trade, nor is such a situation on the horizon. Burrow isn't going anywhere just yet.
