Ja'Marr Chase has started his NFL career in a way no other wide receiver ever has.
The Cincinnati Bengals' superstar made football history on Sunday.
The feat was shared by NFL insider Jordan Schultz on X:
"Ja’Marr Chase just became the first WR in NFL history to have 80+ catches, 1,000+ yards, and 7+ TDs in each of his first 5 NFL seasons."
That's incredibly impressive.
Other wideouts have had great career starts, too, including guys like Justin Jefferson and a bit older than that pair, Mike Evans.
But Chase is clearly one of the best WRs on the planet, and this stat shows it.

Not only is he exceptional at the top end of his performances. He's also incredibly consistent, and healthy enough to reach these numbers every year.
The Bengals won't be going to the playoffs. The Joe Burrow absence coupled with a poor defense to prevent that from happening.
But they've got their franchise QB in Burrow, and their superstar WR1 in Chase. They'll do big things for years to come.
And if Chase keeps this streak going for a few more years, he'll just keep re-writing the NFL history books.
