The Chicago Bears escaped Soldier Field with an incredible comeback victory in the wild-card game versus the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night, but the team didn't come out of the contest unscathed.

Both offensive tackle Ozzy Trapilo and linebacker T.J. Edwards were both forced from the contest early due to injuries.

Edwards suffered an apparent serious ankle injury in the third quarter, while Trapilo came off the field hurt late in the fourth quarter.

After the game, Bears head coach Ben Johnson revealed that both players would miss the rest of the playoffs.

Trapilo's injury was revealed as a patellar issue, while Edwards has a fractured fibula.

At linebacker, the Bears are going to need more out of D'Marco Jackson with Edwards sidelined. Jackson has already shown he can make an impact in a significant role after he won NFC Defensive Player of the Week last month.

The next man up on the depth chart at left tackle is Theo Benedet, but the Bears may also have the option of deploying Braxton Jones next week.

Jones was designated to return from injured reserve recently, and while he was not activated for Saturday's game, he did turn in three full practices during the week, which is a clear sign he's close.

That said, we would anticipate the Bears utilizing Benedet over Jones, even if he is ready to go, as the latter hasn't played in quite some time.
