The Chicago Bears are making the trip to face the Green Bay Packers in what's the biggest matchup of the Week 14 slate in the NFL.
After a dominant win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13, the Bears saw one of their three receivers, Rome Odunze, land on the injury report with a foot issue.
With a huge matchup on deck, the status of Odunze is a big question that needs answering. And according to the Bears' final injury report, Odunze had his status for Week 14 officially revealed: the star second-year wide receiver is out with a foot issue.
Rome Odunze's Week 14 status for Bears-Packers matchup revealed
Odunze was listed on the injury report for the Bears as DNP, or did-not-participate, for every day of practice in the week leading up to the Packers matchup.
Getting ruled out after such a week of practice is hardly a surprise. Odunze will sit out for at least one week, as Luther Burden and DJ Moore take over the lion's share of the work against the Packers in the wide receiver room.

Olamide Zaccheaus will also see consistent usage, while Cole Kmet and Coleston Loveland will be big pieces of the Bears' offense against a tough Packers defense.
This season, Odunze has 44 receptions for 661 yards and six touchdowns. He's been a strong weapon for Caleb Williams in their second year together in the NFL.
But Odunze will sit out for the biggest matchup of the Bears' season, as the 9-3 Bears will try to maintain their NFC North lead over the 8-3-1 Packers in Lambeau.
