Packers-Bears weather forecast presents one issue for NFC Wild Card Round matchup image

The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers will play the second of two playoff games on Saturday at Soldier Field, with kickoff set for 8 p.m. ET.

The Bears enter this contest after an 11-6 season that saw Chicago win the NFC North over their divisional foes. Chicago also finished in the No. 2 seed in the conference, falling behind the 14-win Seattle Seahawks.

The Packers once had a chance to win the division but fell short, leaving the wild card as their only path to the postseason. Green Bay managed to secure the final spot in the conference, setting up this contest with the Bears.

In two matchups this season, the Bears and Packers split, with both teams holding serve on their home turf.

Ahead of kickoff, there is one concern when it comes to the weather forecast. Here's what we know.

Packers-Bears weather forecast

According to Accuweather.com, temperatures will be in the low to mid 30s, but that isn't much of a concern for two teams accustomed to playing in cold weather.

Snow flurries are anticipated in the first hour of the game but are expected to clear up after that. However, precipitation chances are as high as 49% for the final two hours or so, so don't be surprised to see more snow later in the game.

The biggest concern for this game is the wind.

The forecast calls for gusts up to 23 MPH. Anything over 20 MPH can impact the passing attacks and kicking games of both teams, which might force the Packers and Bears to run the ball more.
