The Chicago Bears are fresh off a win against the Cleveland Browns and are riding high after securing their first 10+ win season since 2018, when they won 12. Ben Johnson made some Bears history along the way, as well.

Despite a tough loss against Green Bay, the Bears are firing on all cylinders at the perfect time, right before the playoffs roll around. One Bear in specific who seems to be turning it up at the right time is QB Caleb Williams.

Over the last four weeks, Williams has racked up 821 passing yards, 8 TDs, and 2 INTs. His low rate of interceptions throughout his career led to him setting an NFL record today

Not only has he looked better and better in the passing game as the season’s gone along, but week by week, his ability to avoid sacks seems to be growing more and more impressive.

After matching up against the NFL’s best edge rusher in Myles Garrett, Garrett had some very kind words for Williams and compared him to some of the game’s most elite QBs.

After nearly reaching the mountain top and breaking the NFL single-season sack record, Myles Garrett took to the podium to discuss the game and, more specifically, how difficult it is to sack Caleb Williams.

When asked about Williams' mind-blowing escapability, he said, “When you see a guy like that, you know, it gives you a little bit of Lamar [Jackson] or - little bit of Pat [Mahomes] as far as how he moves and how he navigates through the pocket."

This is incredibly high praise from a player who typically has no trouble wrapping up QBs in the backfield.

If Caleb’s career pans out like either of those players, the Bears are in for quite a while of dominance.
