After a mostly quiet start to his career, Chicago Bears rookie wide receiver Luther Burden has come on very strong in the second half of the season.
Burden's emergence came while fellow wide receiver Rome Odunze was dealing with a foot injury that kept him sidelined for several weeks.
That said, the rookie wide receiver is off to a quiet start in the divisional round game versus the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
Here's what's going on.
Is Luther Burden playing tonight?
UPDATE: Burden is on the board with his first catch on Chicago's second drive.
Yes, Burden is healthy and active, he just hasn't been targeted yet.
Chicago's first drive went five plays for 42 yards, but most of those yards came on a big play to DJ Moore.
It might be tough sledding for Burden on Sunday night with the Bears' pass-catcher group fully healthy, but we would at least expect him to get on the stat sheet.
