The Chicago Bears have deployed an effective one-two punch at running back this season.
That one-two punch is D'Andre Swift and rookie Kyle Monangai, both of whom have wreaked havoc on opposing defenses, especially in the second half of the season.
However, Monangai is off to a slow start in the divisional round game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Here's why.
Is Kyle Monangai playing tonight?
UPDATE: As expected, Monangai is on the board with his first touch on Chicago's second drive of the game.
Yes, Monangai is healthy and active, but he hasn't seen the field yet, as the Bears started Swift, as expected.
The Bears' first drive also didn't last long, so that's another reason why Monangai didn't see any opportunities.
He should get his first touch soon.
