The Bears we have seen this season are not the Bears you are used to seeing. Ben Johnson has come into this organization and flipped the culture completely on its head.
This has resulted in the Bears being 9-4 and very much in the hunt for the NFC North division title. The city of Chicago is having a good time.
One major reason for this resurgence has been the outstanding play of the Chicago defense, specifically when it comes to taking the ball away. They’re leading the NFL in takeaways this season and have a wide margin when it comes to interceptions specifically.
The Chicago secondary has been spectacular this year. 32-year-old veteran Kevin Byard leads the league in INTs (6), and Nahshon Wright is tied for 2nd (5) and has been one of the best stories all season for the Bears.

The most elite of all the players in the secondary is Jaylon Johnson. Today against Cleveland, he showed just how elite he is.
Jaylon Johnson pulls off incredible INT against Shedeur Sanders
Shedeur Sanders has looked pretty good in the last few games since he’s been inserted into the lineup by the Cleveland Browns. Today, Jaylon Johnson punished Sanders after one of his best passes of the day.
As the Browns were marching, approaching the red zone, Sanders threw a beautiful ball to Jerry Judy, who looked sure to haul it in for a touchdown. That is, until Jaylon Johnson had his say.
Jaylon Johnson just took it out of his hands for the INT 😳

Johnson just took the ball away from Judy like taking candy from a baby and stepped out of bounds for the touchback in one of the most confusing-looking interceptions of the season.
The Bears went on to win in dominant fashion, 31-3, and will continue to press on for the NFC North title. They play the Green Bay Packers again in Week 16 on Saturday night.
