D'Andre Swift injury update: NFL insider reveals Bears RB's likely Week 16 status image

The Chicago Bears enter their Week 16 game against the Green Bay Packers with running back D'Andre Swift listed as questionable.

Swift popped up on the injury report this week with a groin issue and was only able to log limited practices before drawing a questionable tag.

However, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Swift is indeed expected to suit up against the Packers on Saturday.

"Bears RB D'Andre Swift (questionable, groin) is expected to play today vs. Green Bay, per source," Fowler reported.

Not much of a surprise here, as it likely would've taken an act of God to keep Swift off the field for such an important game.

Swift is in the midst of what could be a career-best year in 2025.

The veteran running back enters Week 16 with 935 rushing yards, which is just 114 yards shy of his career-high. Swift needs two more rushing touchdowns and three more total scores to break his personal best marks in those areas.

Making those stats more impressive is the fact that Swift has ceded more and more touches to rookie back Kyle Monangai as the season has progressed.

Chicago and Green Bay will kick off from Lambeau Field at 8:20 p.m. ET on Saturday night. The winner will sit in first place in the NFC North.
