The Chicago Bears ended the regular season on a low note in Week 18 after losing to the Detroit Lions and now have their playoff matchup set.

With the loss to the Lions combined with the Philadelphia Eagles' loss to the Washington Commanders on Sunday, the Bears secured the No. 2 seed in the conference and will meet the Green Bay Packers next week.

The Packers lost to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday but were already locked into the No. 7 spot, which led to Green Bay sitting its starters.

Of course, the Bears will be the home team because of they own the superior seed.

The Packers and Bears faced off twice in three weeks this season and split the two games, with both teams holding serve at home.

The Bears have won two of their last three games against the Packers, but Green Bay absolutely owned Chicago before that, with the Packers winning seven straight.

The date and time for the Packers' and Bears' first-round playoff matchup has yet to be revealed.
