After suffering an apparent ankle injury to close out the first half of the Chicago Bears' game against the Cleveland Browns, Caleb Williams just made a potential play of the year.
Williams began limping off the field after the final Bears' drive of the first half, after getting hit up top and landing awkwardly, heading into the blue tint. Well-known backup quarterback Case Keenum started warming up with the potential to come in for relief of Williams.

However, the second-year QB returned to the field without missing a drive, but the team turned the ball over on downs to the Browns, who were struggling to gain momentum, and the Bears converted the turnover into 3 points.
On the next drive, Williams pulled off one of the best plays in his young career, with 8:46 minutes remaining in the third quarter on first down. The interior breaking down on Williams, he rolled out to the right. He made an excellent throw across his body over two defenders to wide receiver DJ Moore while approaching the sideline.
This touchdown made it a three-possession game and seemed to be the dagger, as the Bears won 31-3. Along with the impressive touchdown pass, Williams has thrown for a total of 242 yards with a 61% completion percentage.
Next week, the Bears will look to avenge last week's Week 14 loss to the Green Bay Packers, which took them out of control of the NFC North.
