The Chicago Bears had a magical 2025 season, which unfortunately ended in heartbreak as they lost to the Los Angeles Rams in overtime of the NFC Divisional round.

But the Bears had a wildly successful season and have a lot to look forward to in the future. Now, they need to prepare and make moves this offseason to get back to the playoffs in 2026.

They've begun such moves, as the Bears announced that they've signed 14 players to futures contracts, including a few interesting names.

Maurice Alexander and JP Richardson were signed to futures deals, both of whom are wide receivers. With DJ Moore's future uncertain, they might factor into the Bears' plans in 2026.

Running back Brittain Brown, tight ends Nikola Kallinic and Stephen Carlson, offensive lineman Kyle Hergel, and long snapper Luke Elkin all signed futures deals with the Bears.

Defensively, DB's Dallis Flowers, Dontae Manning, and Gervarrius Owens signed deals with the Bears. Defensive linemen Jeremiah Martin and Jonathan Garvin also signed futures contracts with the Bears.

At linebacker, Dominique Hampton signed a futures deal, as did Nephi Sewell, who is the brother of Detroit Lions All-Pro offensive lineman Penei Sewell.

These signings are not major ones, but they're a good way to begin the Bears' offseason. They're only the start of what should be a very busy offseason for the Bears, which will feature decisions on Kevin Byard III, Nahshon Wright, and Jaquan Brisker.

But, with Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson in place, there will be immense hope for 2026 and beyond with the Bears going forward. These 14 signings are just the beginning of what looks to be an exciting offseason for the Bears.
