The Chicago Bears are about to put a bow on one of the best seasons in team history. They have clinched the NFC North for the first time since 2018, and they have a chance to lock up the No. 2 seed in the NFC with a win over the Detroit Lions. Ahead of the game, quarterback Caleb Williams paid homage to Ben Johnson in a very unique way.
The Bears quarterback walked into Solider Field wearing Johnson's No. 12 high school jersey.

Considering in the offseason, many worried about Williams and if he was the right guy to lead the Bears, he and Johnson have clearly developed a strong relationship over the course of the 2025 season.
Should the Bears win in Week 18, they would host the Green Bay Packers for the third matchup between the two teams. Fans around the NFL would likely welcome that, considering the first two matchups between the NFC North foes both came down to the final play of the game, the second of which was decided by a long touchdown pass from Williams to D.J. Moore in overtime.
