The Chicago Bears will be going for a fourth win in a row as they host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

In a matchup between the two teams at Soldier Field, the Steelers haven't come out with a win in Chicago since 1995.

In the battle of division leaders, the Bears will be short-handed once again in the contest. Cornerbacks Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon won't be activated for their long-awaited returns, and now the team will be without their lead tackler for an extended period of time.

Bears place LB Tremaine Edmunds on IR, will miss next four weeks

On Saturday, the Chicago Bears placed linebacker Tremaine Edmunds and RB Roschon Johnson on injured reserve. They signed running back Brittain Brown and linebacker Carl Jones Jr. To the active roster, senior NFL insider Adam Schefter reported.

Edmunds, 27, leads the Bears in total tackles this season with 89, while also being tied for second on the team in interceptions with four.

Chicago will be without two of their top linebackers for Week 12. Noah Sewell has also been ruled out while he recovers from an elbow injury.

Meanwhile, Roschon Johnson has battled setbacks all throughout 2025. The 24-year-old suffered an injury to his thumb during practice. He will now join Edmunds on the injured reserve for the next four weeks.

The third-year pro has logged just two carries for Chicago this season. Head coach Ben Johnson has leaned towards rookie running back Kyle Monangai to take on the RB2 duties.

It will be interesting to see how the Bears will adjust to the setbacks in hopes of continuing their hot streak in Week 12.
