After beating the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card round, the Chicago Bears have advanced to their first Divisional Round game since 2011.
In the matchup, Chicago will be hosting a Los Angeles Rams team that is equipped with some high firepower on offense while being led by quarterback Matthew Stafford.
Heading into the matchup, scheduled for Sunday night, the Bears received some convincing injury updates to key players.
Rome Odunze (foot) is listed as questionable but says he'll play in the Divisional Round vs. Rams
For Chicago's Friday injury report, WR DJ Moore (knee), OL Braxton Jones (knee), DB CJ Gardner-Johnson (concussion), LB Amen Ogbongbemiga (concussion), and DL Joe Tryon-Shoyinka (concussion) were all listed as full participants and are expected to suit up for the Bears on Sunday.
DB Nick McCloud (groin) will miss the game, while LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin (back) and Rome Odunzue (foot) were limited participants and have been listed as questionable.
However, the Chicago Sun-Times' Patrick Finley reported that despite being listed as questionable, Rome Odunze "said he'll play."
This is a positive sign for the wide receiver, who's been monitoring a stress fracture in his foot that resulted in him missing the Bears' final five games of the regular season.
He was able to suit up in the Wild Card round and logged two receptions on six targets for 44 yards.
It seems that the second-year player isn't playing at full strength, but this won't keep him out of playing in Chicago's most important stretch of the season.
