The NFL playoffs didn't waste any time.
In wins by the Los Angeles Rams, then the Chicago Bears, then the Buffalo Bills, comebacks were the story, in such a way that history was made.
The Rams rallied late to beat the Panthers.
The Bears rallied late to beat the Packers.
The Bills rallied late to beat the Jaguars.
In fact, all three teams trailed at the two-minute warning of the fourth quarter, and all three led in regulation.
That's the NFL record for the most comeback wins inside the final two minutes in a single round in playoff history, according to NFL senior researcher Dante Koplowitz-Fleming.

That was with three games (half the Wild Card Round) still to go.
The odds of such things happening, obviously, aren't that high.
But the story of each game, of course, was the quarterbacks.
Matthew Stafford did it for the Rams.
Caleb Williams did it for the Bears.
Josh Allen did it for the Bills.
Quarterback is the most important position in sports. It is proving itself here.
