The Chicago Bears have been one of the biggest surprises in the NFL this season for many reasons. They have a first-year head coach, a second-year QB, and started the season off 0-2.
Since that point, they finished the season 11-4 and won the NFC North for the first time since 2018. This doesn't happen often.
Through winning the division and all the franchise records Caleb Williams broke, one statistic held firm through all their games after their 0-2 start.
More: Caleb Williams breaks another franchise record. Is he already the greatest QB in Bears history?
When the Bears do this one thing, their chance of winning skyrockets. If they're able to make it happen this Saturday, the numbers say it could nearly guarantee them a win.
The Bears must start fast against Green Bay
The Bears became the most clutch team in NFL history this year by clinching the most wins ever in a season when being down with 2 minutes remaining.
Wins are wins, but to avoid the need for a late-game comeback, it helps to get out of the gate quickly. That model certainly helps the Bears, as this stat reveals it's almost imperative for them to win.
Since Week 3, the Bears are 10-1 when they score at least seven points in the first half. When they don't score at least seven points, they're 0-4.

Since week 3, The Bears are 10-1 when they score AT LEAST 7 points in the first half. The only loss coming against the 49ers in week 17.

Ben Johnson recently explained how he wants the team to start faster and even mentioned that he doesn't believe his team has played a full 60 minutes yet to this point.
The Chicago Bears have their eyes set on Levi Stadium on February 8th, and to do that, they'll need to get past their arch rivals, the Green Bay Packers, first. A strong start on Saturday will be essential in accomplishing that goal.
