The Chicago Bears are the talk of the NFL right now. After starting 0-2, they've gone on to win nine of their last 10, putting them at 9-3 and leaders of the NFC.

This didn't start in Week 3 for them, though. This complete organizational 180 took place in the summer during this last offseason. They secured the brains of the operation in Ben Johnson, who quickly came in and altered the energy of the whole building.

The Bears also managed to secure second-year QB Caleb Williams three additional weapons through the draft in Colston Loveland, Luther Burden III, and Kyle Monangai, who has recently exploded onto the scene

What looks to be the most significant move(s) the organization made in the offseason was the retooling of their offensive line.

Last season, the Bears' offensive line was ranked 24th in the league by PFF. This season, they're currently a top-five unit in the league with three of their five starters receiving Pro Bowl Votes. The leader in the clubhouse is Joe Thuney.

Thuney has been spectacular this season at guard and has been a massive anchor for the unit as a whole. Did you know, however, that Thuney was also the anchor of many Conference Championship and Super Bowl units before Chicago?

Is Joe Thuney a Super Bowl good luck charm?

Thuney was certainly not the only player the Bears added to their offensive line room this summer, but he's proving to be the most important.

Over the course of 828 snaps this season, Thuney has not allowed a single sack and has only accounted for two total penalties. That is a recipe for winning football games.

Thuney is no stranger to winning football games, especially in the biggest moments.

During his time with the New England Patriots, Thuney won three AFC Championships and two Super Bowls. When he took his talents to Kansas City, he rattled off three more AFC Championships and two more Super Bowls.

You tend to hear a lot about those guys, Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes, but were they even truly the driving forces of their squads? It seems like Joe Thuney might just be the constant.
