Often, the games that Thursday Night Football gives the public are the ones people laugh about with their friends. Last night, that was certainly not the case.
The Rams and Seahawks delivered an absolute thriller that has many touting it as the NFL's game of the year.

With such massive implications attached to last night's game, the Rams' loss not only opened up the door for the Seahawks to claim the number 1 seed in the NFC, but made the path very clear for Chicago to do the same.
Bears now have a clear path to the NFC's 1-seed
By no means is Chicago's 1-seed destiny in their own hands, but the door is open.
Obviously, all of Chicago's focus is on the most important game in years for them against Green Bay this weekend, but we can hypothesize.
With a Seahawks win last night, they got Chicago into this position, and with even more help from them, they could get the Bears a first-round bye if the Bears handle their business.
The scenario for the Chicago Bears to obtain the 1 seed is pretty straight forward and realistc:

1. Win out
2. Have the Seattle Seahawks lose at least 1 more game (@ Carolina Panthers, @ San Francisco 49ers)
The 49ers could be playing to make the playoffs week 18.

As long as the Bears win all of their games the rest of the way, all the Seahawks would have to do is lose one of their remaining two games.
The Bears finish the year playing the Packers, 49ers, and Lions. No small task as all three of those teams have serious playoff aspirations.
The Seahawks are in a similar position playing the Panthers and 49ers.
If the Bears can manage to win out and have the Seahawks lose one more game, they can put the bow on the perfect regular season. All they'd have left to do would be to bring a Lombardi back to Chicago.
