The Buffalo Bills didn't have tight end Dalton Kincaid on the field when they defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11.

That's because Kincaid is dealing with a hamstring injury that kept him out of practice before he was ultimately ruled out.

Kincaid is arguably the best pass-catcher on Buffalo's roster, so it's vital that the Bills get him back as soon as possible.

Entering Week 12, Kincaid is second on the team in receiving yards with 448 and he's on pace for a career-best season.

As we turn the page to Week 12, here's what we know about his chances of suiting up against the Houston Texans on Thursday night.

Will Dalton Kincaid play in Week 12?

We don't know for sure if Kincaid will be able to play, but it isn't looking good early on.

According to the Bills' official injury report, Kincaid did not take part in the team's walk-through on Monday. He has yet to practice since his injury.

Head coach Sean McDermott labeled Kincaid as week to week, which only adds to the pessimism surrounding his status, especially on a short week.

We'll see if Kincaid can get back to practice on Tuesday, but the final determination for his status for Week 12 will be made on Wednesday, when the Bills drop their last injury report of the week.

Who is Dalton Kincaid's handcuff?

Dawson Knox will step into Kincaid's role if he's sidelined for another game, but he is not a suggested lineup option in fantasy football.

In the games Kincaid has missed this season (Weeks 6 and 11), Knox has posted 1/19/1 and 1/23/0.

If you start Knox, you'll be wholly dependent on a touchdown. As a result, fantasy owners should look elsewhere for help.
