As we enter Week 18, this is not the time for the Buffalo Bills to develop bad habits, but unfortunately for Sean McDermott's team, they are.

In three of their last four games, the Bills have found themselves down multiple scores (Bengals, Patriots, and Eagles), forcing Josh Allen to put on the Superman cape.

Yes, Buffalo completed the comebacks against the Bengals and Patriots, and was an accurate Josh Allen throw away from doing the same against the Eagles, but that isn't a recipe the Bills want to use in the playoffs.

And Khalil Shakir, who was the target on that inaccurate two-point conversion pass from Allen, knows the team can't be starting the way they have been.

"Yeah, it's obvious that things need to get picked up a little bit faster than we have been,” Shakir said. “Just need to be better, that's all.”

Bills playoff run won't last long with nasty trait

In a one-off game in the playoffs, the Bills can't allow teams to get ahead by multiple scores.

And considering that, due to the loss to the Eagles, Buffalo will be on the road, getting down big is a recipe for being one-and-done.

With Super Bowl hopes on the line, the Bills have to figure out a way to start better and not be so bland offensively.

The Bengals, Patriots, and Eagles shut down the Bills' offense for the majority of the game, but Allen managed to get something cooking late.

As the playoffs near, how about this -- Allen and the offense cooks from the opening series.
