Odell Beckham Jr. May very well be washed up.
But the Buffalo Bills aren't in a position to be picky.
They already opted not to trade for a new wide receiver before the NFL's Nov. 4 deadline. And they have since benched Keon Coleman, deactivating him for Week 11 after he was late for a team meeting.
The WR corps was already not coming through enough for Josh Allen, but at least it seemed like something might happen in a trade that would help. And no one was planning on an unexpected conflict with Coleman, who has rarely created separation when on the field, anyway.

The Bills tried adding a veteran wideout midway through the 2024 season when they traded for Amari Cooper, and he didn't make major contributions, although he was a player opposing defenses had to account for.
Even at 33 years old, Beckham fits that bill.
When OBJ is on the field, people notice.
He's still got great hands and quick feet, even if he isn't as durable or top-end athletic as he once was.
Beckham just served a six-game suspension for PEDs, but now he's reinstated and available to be signed as a free agent.

There's no reason for the Bills not to give him a shot.
The worst thing that happens is they release him in a month after he doesn't click.
But what if Beckham shows even a tad of his talent is still there? The Bills made themselves better with a player they'd get off the proverbial scrap heap.
Last season in Miami, Beckham played nine games and caught nine passes for 55 yards. He's probably not a major difference maker anymore.
But Brandon Beane owes the Bills every chance he can give them to try and win a Super Bowl and maximize Allen's prime.
There aren't a lot of moves still available to be made. Signing Beckham would be one of them, and it's worth the dart throw just in case.
