Josh Allen is getting absolutely clobbered in the Buffalo Bills' playoff opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
He hurt his head early, then on an ensuing TD drive, Allen hurt his throwing hand (on a helmet) and his left knee or ankle as he ran into the end zone.
Allen doesn't want to come out of the game, of course.
But if he has to, the Bills would have to count on their backup QB.

Who is the Bills' backup QB?
The Buffalo Bills' backup quarterback is Mitchell Trubisky.
Yes, that's former Chicago Bears first-round pick Trubisky.
He played almost the entirety of Week 18 after Allen played the first snap, so he's relatively up to speed. Trubisky led the Bills to a convincing win over the Jets in that game.
Trubisky was 22-for-29 with four touchdown passes in this game.
He has played in four games this season, but aside from the Jets game, has attempted just six passes.
Trubisky is in his third season as Allen's backup, along with 2021 and 2024.
He was with the Steelers in 2022 and 2023.
He began his career with four seasons with the Bears, in which he had a 29-21 record as a starter.
