NFL insider shares what may have happened with Bills WR Keon Coleman for benching image

The Buffalo Bills appear to be making a shocking decision on Sunday.

Multiple reports have indicated that Keon Coleman is going to be inactive for Week 11 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Coleman isn't injured, which makes it that much more intriguing.

The Bills are choosing to shorthand themselves against a really good team, so there must be a strong reason.

What happened to Keon Coleman?

Seemingly, Coleman must've had something happen outside of the lines of the field.

Insider Jordan Schultz shared that Coleman had a good week of practice and that this move wasn't based on performance.

That leaves this explanation from reporter Tyler Dunne:

"Keon Coleman hasn’t been playing well (obviously) but this hints that something happened and the Bills had enough. Trying like hell to get through to him. Perhaps taking the jersey away does it. Perhaps not."

The Bills do have Joshua Palmer back from injury, which opened up the depth chart at least a bit.

Buffalo plays Thursday against the Texans, a quick turnaround, so whether or not Coleman will be available for that will be a storyline worth watching.
