The Buffalo Bills have once again fallen short of their ultimate goal of winning the Super Bowl after losing to the Denver Broncos in the divisional round on Saturday.

The latest disappointing ending to a Bills season has clearly taken a toll on Josh Allen, who was in tears as he took the podium for his postgame press conference after the loss.

As if we needed more evidence of how much this means to Allen.

Credit to him for actually taking the podium and facing the music despite how hard he took the loss versus Denver.

It's understandable why Allen is so emotional.

Disappointing endings to seasons have become a common occurrence for a Bills team that has been a Super Bowl contender for years now.

This loss was particularly tough for Allen, who turned the ball over four times in the contest, with two interceptions and two lost fumbles. Allen also missed some huge throws that could have changed the course of the game.

Even with those turnovers and misfires, the Bills still had a great chance to win the game, both during regulation and in overtime, but they simply couldn't cash in.

Overtime was especially brutal, as the Broncos were the beneficiary of two massive (and questionable) pass interferences that put Denver in position to kick the game-winning field goal.

Now, the Bills turn to the offseason, where they have a ton of questions to answer.

The first of those questions is what the team will do with head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane.

We should know their fates in the coming days.
