The Buffalo Bills have lost their last two games, and that has led to a lot of Bills Mafia turning against offensive coordinator Joe Brady. After scoring 30+ points in each of their first four games, the Bills scored 34 combined points in Weeks 5 and 6. Additionally, the Bills have run a bad reverse play in three straight games, and all three times they have failed - two in crucial moments that directly resulted in a Buffalo loss.

While the frustration of Bills fans mount, Brady could be leaving Buffalo for a head coaching job - but not necessarily an NFL head coaching job.

At least one writer has Brady pegged to become the new coach at Penn State, replacing James Franklin who was fired after the Nittany Lions dropped a third straight game.

"Joe Brady has quietly made a name for himself over the last handful of years as a great offensive mind," Chris Vasile writes. "He's had the Buffalo Bills' offense humming (last two games notwithstanding), and he could be the right kind of offensive mind needed at Penn State. After all, he did have his hand in LSU's high-octane offense in 2019, led by Joe Burrow.  Whether or not Brady has the urge to ditch the pro ranks for his shot at running the show in college remains to be seen. For now, these are just rumors and speculation,  but if the Nittany Lions want to make a splash, this would certainly be a play."

Penn State fired head coach James Franklin after three consecutive losses, two of which came against UCLA and Northwestern. Franklin was the head coach of the Nittany Lions for 12 seasons. Brady has spent time at Penn State as a graduate assistant from 2015-16.
