The Buffalo Bills have regained their momentum.

The bye week reset things, then they crushed the Carolina Panthers and edged the Kansas City Chiefs.

Now, they head into Week 10 looking to keep it rolling and will take on the Miami Dolphins.

Their momentum could depend in part on the health of James Cook, though. It's not certain he'll play.

Is James Cook playing in Week 10?

James Cook seems bound for a questionable tag for Week 10.

He missed Wednesday's practice entirely with an ankle injury.

He was back out there Thursday as a limited participant.

If Cook grows to full participation on Friday, all will likely be fine. If he stays limited, it's less certain.

The Bills have a solid backup duo. Ray Davis would likely see early-down work, and Ty Johnson would be the receiving RB.

Cook has the big contract and has been a great leader for Buffalo's offense this season, though. Even against the lowly Dolphins, it's never good to be missing a guy like Cook.

The fact that Cook was back out on the practice field in some capacity on Thursday is a great sign. It points toward playing on Sunday.

As long as things don't regress on Friday, it seems like Cook's news should work out OK.
