The Buffalo Bills were expected to be active at this past Tuesday's NFL trade deadline.
They came in with plenty of needs: wide receiver, defensive tackle, pass rusher, safety.
In the end, it was a quiet day for Buffalo, though.

Jaylen Waddle, Quinnen Williams trade rumors
It sounds like the Bills gave it a shot.
On Sunday morning, NFL Network's Tom Peliserro reported this:
"The Bills were the high bidder for Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle and also tried to acquire then-Jets DL Quinnen Williams before Tuesday’s trade deadline, per sources. In both cases, their AFC East rivals ultimately gave Buffalo no help in its push for a 6th straight division title."
Those both would've been big pickups for the Bills.
In the end, it sounds like news that Buffalo would want out there to placate the fanbase after no trades actually happened.
