The Buffalo Bills have made a noteworthy addition to their defense, as they've signed a Super Bowl champion. Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Bills are claiming Darius Slay off waivers.

"Sources: Former Steelers and Eagles CB Darius Slay got claimed today on waivers by the Buffalo Bills," Schefter reports. "Slay now goes from playing against the Bills last week to being a part of that team this week."

Slay was a healthy scratch against the Bills on Sunday. The Steelers elevated Asante Samuel Jr. From the practice squad after signing him earlier in November. Slay has had a down season thus far, allowing 26 catches and a passer rating just under 104, per Next Gen Stats.

Slay signed with the Steelers this past offseason after spending four years with the Eagles and helping them defeat the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. Slay is a six-time Pro Bowl selection and a former First-Team All-Pro. He now joins a secondary featuring Christian Benford, Tre'Davious White, Max Hairston, and Taron Johnson at cornerback.
