There's usually nothing that exciting about punter signings.

But the Buffalo Bills found a way to ramp up the hype about their new specialist on Tuesday.

They signed Cameron Johnston, and no, there's no reason to specifically know that name.

You won't forget him, though: He looks incredibly similar to comedian Bill Burr.

Some social media posts have even taken it a step further to say that Johnston combined with Bills head coach Sean McDermott makes Burr.

The Bills released Brad Robbins to make room for Johnston. Robbins lasted just Week 1 of the regular season before Buffalo decided to make a change.

Johnston is a 33-year old who is from Australia but did play college football at Ohio State.

This marks his eighth season as an NFL punter.

Johnston spent his first three campaigns with the Philadelphia Eagles, then three more with the Houston Texans, and then he appeared in a single game in 2024 with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

For his career, Johnston has averaged 47.3 yards per punt (42.2 net) and put 40.9% of his career punts inside the 20-yard line.

The Bills go for it a lot on fourth down, so Johnston may be less active in Buffalo than he would be with a lot of other teams.

But for him, it's an opportunity to join a Super Bowl contender. And for the Bills, it's a chance to get a Bill Burr lookalike.
