The Buffalo Bills spent a ton of draft capital on the defensive side of the ball. They drafted three defensive backs and three defensive linemen in the first six rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft, knowing that has been their weakness in the biggest games, specifically against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Buffalo was the only team that allowed the Chiefs to score 30 points in 2024, which led to another playoff loss, and their second defeat to Kansas City in the AFC Championship Game. And after seeing what the Philadelphia Eagles did to the Chiefs' offensive line, the Bills are hoping they found their own version of Jalen Carter. From the sounds of it, they may have.
Rookie T.J. Sanders is reportedly dominating Bills camp, and consistently blowing up run plays.
"TJ Sanders has been LIVING in the backfield today," Dan Fetes of WHAM in Buffalo says on X. "Another great day for the rookie."
Should this dominance carry over into live-game situations, the Bills may have found a gem on Day Two of the NFL Draft.
