The Buffalo Bills are entering another season in which they will be one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl. However, the inevitable obstacle of the Kansas City Chiefs will remain in their way.
One player they will certainly be counting on to get them over the hump is All-Pro linebacker Matt Milano. Unfortunately for the Bills, Milano has missed 25 games in the last two years, and he is set to be a free agent in 2026 after a contract restructure.
Because of this, Jacob Infante of PFSN predicts the Bills will select his replacement in the form of Suntarine Perkins out of Ole Miss.
"The Buffalo Bills have solid defensive depth, but Matt Milano is coming off consecutive major issues at linebacker," Infante writes. "Loading up their defense will be key to keep pace with contenders like Kansas City and Baltimore. Though undersized at 6’1″ and 210 pounds, Suntarine Perkins is a jack of all trades who’s an elite athlete with a red-hot motor. He takes blocks head-on and chases down ball carriers with relentless pursuit."
With Milano being a free agent in 2026, drafting his replacement to put alongside Terrel Bernard wouldn't be the worst idea for the Bills.
