The Buffalo Bills failed to make any sort of splash ahead of the NFL trade deadline, leaving their middle-of-the-pack passing offense to rely almost solely on Josh Allen extending plays and quick screens to Khalil Shakir for the remainder of the season. On top of that, Bills fans will be unhappy to hear that Buffalo isn't on the list of teams that a star free agent will be visiting.
Star cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. Has been cleared after undergoing spinal fusion, and is taking visits with multiple teams - the Bills are not one of them. The Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, and Carolina Panthers are set to host the former second-round pick, per Jordan Schultz.
Sources: The #Packers and #Vikings are also scheduled to have visits with CB Asante Samuel Jr.

Considering Taron Johnson is getting older and just missed the Week 9 matchup with the Chiefs due to injury, it's surprising that the Bills wouldn't bring in Samuel to potentially be their nickel of the future.
Samuel played in just four games a season ago due to his injury, but has proven to be a reliable corner when healthy. He has six interceptions in 50 career games.
