The Buffalo Bills are not playing around when it comes to Keon Coleman.
Buffalo benched its 2024 second-round pick in last week after he was late for a meeting, and that was not the first time he has been benched for disciplinary reasons, as it was the third time in his career and second time in 2025 alone.
And, it looks like Coleman's punishment is going to extend into this week.
According to Erik Turner of Cover 1, who was the first to break the news of the Bills wide receiver's benching last week, Buffalo will sit Coleman yet again in Week 12 against the Houston Texans.
"From what I'm told, it'll be the second game in a row Keon Coleman will be inactive for the Bills," Turner reported.
The decision to sit Coleman is even more glaring this week, as the Bills are down two wide receivers after both Mecole Hardman and Curtis Samuel were ruled out.
We don't think the Bills are done with Coleman entirely, but clearly they are trying to send him a stern message to get his act together or else. We would definitely say that his standing with the team is on shaky ground, though.
Without Coleman, Hardman and Samuel, the Bills will be relying on Tyrell Shavers, Khalil Shakir, Joshua Palmer, Elijah Moore and Gabe Davis, who will likely be elevated from the practice squad ahead of the Thursday night kickoff.
Shavers in particular stepped up big time in Coleman's absence last week, ripping off four catches for 90 yards and a touchdown.
The Bills are going to need more of that from him in Week 12 in what is yet another golden opportunity for the second-year wideout.
