The Buffalo Bills were hit hard by injuries at the beginning of the preseason. Each of the following players have missed time at one point or another since training camp began.

  • OT Spencer Brown

  • WR Tyrell Shavers

  • WR Curtis Samuel

  • WR Elijah Moore

  • TE Dalton Kincaid

  • LB Terrel Bernard

  • WR Kaden Prather

  • C Sedrick Van Pran-Granger

  • TE Dawson Knox

  • K Tyler Bass

You can now add another veteran name to that list, and it comes at a position the Bills can't afford to have injuries at - cornerback. Tre'Davious White left practice on Thursday with an apparent leg injury.

"Bills CB Tre’Davious White hopped off the field on one leg today and was immediately looked at by trainers," Sal Capaccio reports. "He stood by the outside wall with them for several minutes before walking slowly (on his own, with a trainer nearby) into the locker room area. White later walked back down the tunnel towards the field where he then sat in a cart and was driven out."

The Bills are already thin at cornerback behind Christian Benford as Max Hairston suffered a leg injury of his own back in late July, though anything season-ending was avoided.

"Buffalo Bills rookie cornerback Maxwell Hairston suffered a right LCL sprain in Tuesday's practice but avoided a major injury, with his ACL intact, a source confirmed to ESPN," Alaina Getzenberg reports. "The Bills have not provided a specific timeline for Hairston's return. Hairston's noncontact injury that cornerback Dane Jackson described as a 'freak little trip-up' took place during the individual period of training camp practice at St. John Fisher University, with the cornerbacks working on a pass rush drill."

With the Bills' Week 1 contest against the Baltimore Ravens just over two weeks away, they need to get healthy, and do so quickly, or they will face the same issue they did the last time they faced the Ravens where Baltimore ran for over 200 yards.
