The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for their NFL-leading seventh consecutive playoff run, but it is their first since 2019 not being the AFC East champions. The Bills will be a wild card team, and they currently hold the No. 7 seed in the AFC playoffs. However, if they defeat the New York Jets, they will likely be the No. 6 seed, considering the Los Angeles Chargers are resting Justin Herbert against the Denver Broncos, which could set them up for a wild card matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Looking forward, though, the Bills have been labeled a team that could make a massive splash trade for a star edge rusher. Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report names the Bills as a team that should make the blockbuster move, sending a pair of first-round picks, a fourth round pick, and wide receiver Josh Palmer to Las Vegas.
"The Bills have recently gone the aging veteran pass-rusher route, adding Von Miller in 2022 and Joey Bosa this past offseason," Knox writes. "Perhaps it's time they target a premier pass-rusher in his prime, like Crosby. Bosa, for the record, ranks second among Bills defenders with five sacks."
"Crosby would pair with Bills' sack-leader Gregory Rousseau to form a terrific pass-rushing tandem. That duo would help Buffalo battle the New England Patriots for AFC East supremacy. Las Vegas, in return, could land a sizeable trade package, along with veteran receiver Joshua Palmer."
The Bills would have to do some salary cap gymnastics to make the deal work, but landing an S-Tier pass rusher like Crosby could lead to them winning multiple Super Bowls.
