The Buffalo Bills are 9-4 and heading into a very important tilt with the New England Patriots. If New England wins, they clinch the AFC East, marking the first time the Bills would not have won the division since 2019.
Buffalo's offense has been quite inconsistent all season, with the passing game being especially volatile due to the lack of high-quality weapons. Because of this, Field Yates of ESPN, projects that the Bills will select Washington wideout Denzel Boston in his latest mock draft.
"It's no mystery that the Bills are still looking for a game-altering receiver after Keon Coleman's down year and Khalil Shakir's inconsistent campaign," Yates writes. "Boston has the potential to check that box for Buffalo with his size at 6-4 and alignment versatility. He routinely got the better of defenders in the red zone over the past two seasons, using his frame to snag 19 receiving touchdowns. He was dependable in the big slot role, too, with two drops on 189 targets since 2024. The Bills have 15 attributed drops this season, which is tied for 17th in the NFL."
The Bills took Keon Coleman at the top of the second round in the 2024 NFL Draft, and he was made a healthy scratch for two games in Weeks 12 and 13. The Bills failed to fully replace Stefon Diggs after trading him in April of 2024. And while the "Everyone Eats" mentality worked in 2024 and helped them reach the AFC Championship Game, not having a go-to guy in the biggest moments proved to be a killer in their loss to the Chiefs.
Boston has caught 56 passes for 755 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2025 with the Huskies.
