The Buffalo Bills have had quite the week. They played their final game at Highmark Stadium (barring hosting the Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC Championship Game), and star running back James Cook locked up the NFL rushing title with 1,621 rushing yards.
It came down to the wire for Cook, as he defeated Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry by 26 yards. Henry had 126 yards against the Steelers, but still fell short. Because of this, Bills right tackle Spencer Brown sent a thank you to the Steelers when speaking to the media on Wednesday.
"That was awesome," Brown said. "I texted my group chat after the first half and I'm like, "I really don't love that Derrick Henry as 111 rushing yards already.' Shoutout to the Steelers' defense. They slowed him down in the second half. Super happy for Jimmy. Everyone knows he's a quiet guy. He goes about his business and then he runs with his hair on fire. So, pride in our o-line room for making that happen, but he makes us look good at the end of the day."
The Bills will face the Jacksonville Jaguars in the wild card round on Sunday, whose defense has allowed the fewest rushing yards per game in the NFL this season.
