The Buffalo Bills aren't settling.
They know they have a chance to win the AFC and get to the Super Bowl, and on Friday, they lined up a signing that could help that cause.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Friday afternoon that the Bills intend to sign pass rusher Matthew Judon to the practice squad.
The Bills had Judon in for a visit on Friday. He was most recently with the Dolphins before being cut loose this week.
Judon entered the NFL in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Division II Grand Valley State, a Ravens draft pick.
He spent his first five seasons in Baltimore, making two Pro Bowls. He had 34.5 sacks in 76 games with the Ravens.

Judon's best performance came in his next two seasons, both with the New England Patriots. He had 12.0 sacks and then 15.5 sacks, making two Pro Bowls.
He was injured for most of his final season with New England.
In 2024, Judon had 5.5 sacks for the Atlanta Falcons.
He played in 13 games this season with the Dolphins and didn't have a sack and had just one tackle for loss.
The Bills have a pretty strong edge group, but the potential for the 33-year old Judon to get on the field for a chunk of high-impact snaps each game is a worthy pursuit.
If Judon doesn't have any juice left, the Bills didn't give up pretty much anything to sign him.
And if he's got something left in the tank, Buffalo just got a proven pass rusher in time for the playoffs.
