The Buffalo Bills suffered a big loss in their win over the Carolina Panthers as defensive tackle Ed Oliver suffered a torn bicep. In light of this, the Bills have signed a defensive tackle.

Buffalo signed Tommy Akingbesote. He was drafted in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys out of Maryland. He had 32 tackles in his final collegiate season, and totaled 77 for his career, along with eight tackles for loss and four sacks.

The Bills had reinforcements enter the lineup in Week 8, as they got both Michael Hoecht and Larry Ogunjobi back from suspension. With Akingbesote joining the fray, along with the likes of Deone Walker, as well as DaQuan Jones and T.J. Sanders once they get healthy, Buffalo has more than enough bodies to make up for the loss of Oliver.
