Bills' Sean McDermott offers tight-lipped Josh Allen injury update image

As the second quarter was winding down of the Buffalo Bills' 23-20 win over the Cleveland Browns, Josh Allen suffered an ankle injury.

He was seen limping into the tunnel at halftime, but managed to come out and still play the rest of the game.

But now we have had 24 hours to see if anything has happened with Josh's ankle.

When asked about his quarterback and if any more tests need to be done, head coach Sean McDermott was straight to the point.

"Not that I'm aware of," he said.

So, Allen's ankle didn't get worse overnight?

"No, just sore," McDermott added.

And of course, the big question: Does Sean see Allen playing in Week 17?

“As far as I'm aware, yes."

McDermott not giving anything away with Allen's injury

It was short and straight to the point.

But there is no denying that there has to be a little bit of concern over Allen's injury, right?

Although the MVP winner stated post-game that he is all good, a day or two later, one can see ankle injuries become problematic.

How the next couple of days go will tell us a lot, with McDermott stating the Bills will practice tomorrow, and our eyes will be glued to the injury report to see where Allen lands.

Either way, No. 17 might not be fully healthy in Week 17, and given what is at stake, that isn't ideal.

Still, it seems like Josh will be playing, so the injury might not be as bad as initially thought.
